Privacy Policy:

Granny Jane's Attic (GJA) respects your privacy and is very committed to keeping your information private.  Your address information is used to process your order.  As part of the order process the following information is collected from you the customer: 

You're Name|Billing/Shipping Address|E-mail Address|Phone Number 

GJA will not sell or give away any information that identifies you to anyone including third parties. 

All payments are processed through PayPal.  Your credit card payment information is not added to this site.  GJA is not set up to take payments over the phone or by mail.  All payment information is processed through the secure encrypted PayPal site.  PayPal is used because they are The Leader in Secure on Line Payments this is for your protection.  GJA does not have access to any of your payment information.  

 

 I accept payment from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Credit Cards & Bank Debit Cards along with e-checks using Paypal.  You do not need a Paypal account to make a credit card, debit card or e-check payment. 

 

Holiday Shipping:

During any of the holiday seasons, GJA cannot guarantee shipping times, so please order early.  GJA is here to assist you if you have questions so please ask before placing your order. 

 

Shipping Info:

Buyer will be responsible for all shipping fees.  You will be charged shipping fees depending on the weigh, size and destination of your package.  GJA will not bill you for the shipping fee until your order is ready to ship so your fee can be calculated properly.  You will receive an invoice e-mailed from PayPal for your shipping fee.  GJA only charges the actual shipping fees for what it cost to ship your order.  GJA is not in the business to make money on the shipping fees.   

If you would like your order sent to an address different than your billing address, fill in the shipping address information when placing the order.  Shipping fees are based on the address the order is shipped to.  All orders must have a physical (street) address to be delivered.  UPS and FedEx cannot deliver to a P.O. Box. 

Please Note:  Item(s) ordered can only be shipped within the Continental US. 

 

Cancelled Orders:

Orders are placed immediately unless there is a need to contact the customer.  Placing your order with my supplier quickly allows you to receive your item(s) quicker so you can start enjoying them sooner.  Should you choose to cancel your order, the process may have already started or your order may have been shipped.  If already shipped cancellation will not be possible.  If the order has shipped and you still want to cancel you must contact GJA prior to returning your item.  You will be responsible a restocking fee of 25% when returned.  The item will be inspected, if the item is in the same condition as when shipped you will be issued a refund minus the 25% restocking fees.  Any order refused by the customer will be sent back at the buyer's expense and will be deducted from the refund.  After fees are deducted a refund may be issued.  Do not return your item until you contact GJA. 

 

Returns:

Return requests must be made within 24 hours of receipt of your order either by e-mail or phone.  If you choose to return your item it will be at the discretion of the supplier and GJA to issue a refund.  You will be responsible for the shipping fee to return your item.  There is a 25% restocking fee on all returned items.  Returns must be received by the supplier within 10 days in the same original packing and packaging material.  Item must bear no markings or be otherwise defaced or damaged in any way.  Sample, custom made and special request order items cannot be returned.  Returns which do not meet the conditions as described above will be returned to buyer at buyer's expense.  Once the supplier approves the returned item, you will be issued a refund minus the 25% restocking fee.  Do not return your item until you have contact GJA. 

 

Exchanges:

All exchange requests must be made within 24 hours of receipt of your order either by e-mail or phone.  You will be responsible for the shipping fee to return the item.  There is a 25% restocking fee on all exchanges.  Exchange of items will be at the discretion of supplier and GJA.   If approved for an exchange you are welcome to choose an item at the same price or higher than the one you are returning.  Exchanges must be returned in the original packing and packaging material.  Item must bear no markings or be otherwise defaced or damaged in any way.  Sample, custom made and special request order items cannot be exchanged.  Do not return your item until you contact GJA. 

 

Damages:

A supreme effort is made to see that your order is shipped correctly and reaches you safely.  If you receive a damaged item you must contact GJA immediately within 24 hours of receipt of your order or your claim will be denied.  Please see insurance information below for orders over $100.00.  I suggest if possible take pictures of the damages to the packaging and damages to the item to show to the carrier.  You must have the original packaging the order was shipped in.  The carrier will need to see the packing material to consider your claim.   You will need the information on the shipping label when you contact the carrier and GJA.  If possible you will need to return the damaged item with the original packaging to the supplier.  Damaged items will be replaced with the same item only.   If replacement is not available a refund will be issued if claim is approved.  There will be no restocking fee or return shipping fees on damaged items under $100.00.  Refund will be issued after supplier inspects your item for damages and approves the refund. 

Cancelled Orders, Returned, Exchanged or Damaged items returned without first contacting GJA will be refused.  You will need the correct address to return your item.  Items must be returned in the same manner as it was shipped, FedEx, UPS or USPS Priority Mail.  You will need a tracking number that must be given to GJA.  It is suggested you insure your package when returning your item.  Damaged items returns do not need to be insured.    

 

Insurance Coverage:

GJA will not be held responsible for orders over $100.00 that is damaged during shipping.  Orders shipped through UPS or FedEx are insured for the first $100.00 of damage incurred during shipping.  Insurance on orders over $100.00 will be at the buyer's expense.  This is a very small fee starting at $2.25 for the next $100.01 to $300.00 and than an additional $0.75 per hundred thereafter.  If you want your order over $100.00 to be insured please make note in the comments section when placing your order and I will include the insurance fee in the shipping invoice.  If you are ordering anything breakable it is worth the small fee.  Broken or damaged items over $100.00, must be taken up with the carrier.  For items that are not insured that are over $100.00, GJA will not issue a refund and item will be replaced at the buyer's expense.  

 

Please Note:  No refunds, exchanges or replacements will be given should you choose not to contact GJA within the times noted above "No Exceptions". 

 

Please Note:  Colors offered may have differences from one monitor to another monitor due to the operating system being used.  If you have questions on colors please ask before placing your order. 

 

Out of Stock Items:

Although GJA makes every effort to maintain the currency in the inventory and satisfy my customers, occasionally an item may be missed that is out of stock or discontinued due to the size of the inventory.  If you order an item(s) that is out of stock or discontinued GJA will stop the order process and contact you.  GJA does not process orders until all item(s) are in stock or you give permission to continue with your order minus the out of stock item.  GJA will not be held responsible for out of stock or discontinued items. 

 

Improvements:

GJA may/can make improvements and/or changes in the pricing or product descriptions on the website at any time.  Price, products and availability information in this site is subject to change without notice. 

 

Site Errors:

GJA may include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.  GJA reserve the right to make correction prior to or after accepting your order.  Should this happen GJA will contact you to advise of these changes prior to processing your order.

 

Terms of Use:

When using this site you agree and understand Granny Jane's Attic store policies.  GJA will not be liable for any direct or indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary damages.  This includes any misuse of the product(s) used in a manner not in accordance with their intended use.  By placing an order on GJA you understand and agree to all store policies. 

If you choose not to agree with any of the store policies on GJA, you have the right not to use this site. GJA leaves this choice up to you the customer.
